For me, the only audience for your school self-evaluation is your lead inspector. It’s purpose is to put an idea in his/her head of the grades you feel your school deserves.
Both these dialogic tools will talk you through how to build a positive, persuasive and convincing self-evaluation.
Please use in your school, or cannibalise bits from them! I’ll update the tools when I’ve done my summer Ofsted training and have a better feel for what inspection will look like.
